The CV4 utilizes the MK9 capsule developed by Miktek. 
This unique capsule features dual 1-inch diaphragms manufactured using 5-micron Mylar with a 0.4-micron layer of evaporated gold, which is precisely tensioned, mounted to carefully-tuned backplates, and set back-to-back to create the final capsule. Tight tolerances and special attention to precise machining of the backplate produce a linear off-axis response that ensures the accuracy of the microphone.

The heart and soul of the CV4’s head amplifier is the AMI BT4 transformer, which offers a classic sound and an extended low frequency response found in the earliest versions of the most famous vintage tube microphones. Together with an original NOS (new-old-stock) Telefunken EF800 tube, in which the high-voltage circuit has been uniquely implemented, the microphone challenges the performance of the best-in-class industry standards without hesitation.

The Miktek CV4 is hand-built using components from the US, Europe and Asia, and is tested and packaged in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Each microphone includes its serialized frequency response graph created during final testing.

The Miktek C7e, multi-pattern, large diaphragm FET condenser will impress the most critical listeners and inspire artists to create their best performance. The microphone’s pick-up characteristic is selectable; offering cardioid, omni and bidirectional patterns. In addition, the C7e employs a high-pass filter and –10dB pad for recording loud sound sources.

The frequency response is warm on the bottom and silky-sweet on the top, yet at the same time, the midrange is natural and open. The microphone produces amazing results when recording acoustic instruments, guitar amps, or as overheads on a drum kit. But of course, the C7e really excels on vocal applications.

The Miktek DI1 provides the facility for the direct insertion of an audio signal into a mixer or recorder. It offers a variety of DI solutions for live sound and recording applications. The Miktek MX4 is a 4 channel mini mixer with high-end mixer features. It contains: a balanced mic input with an XLR connector, an included phantom power supply for connecting a condenser microphone, 2 high impedance line inputs and a stereo 1/8″(3.5mm) input, individual volume controls for each channel allowing you to create your own mix by adjusting the gain level one by one, and two 1⁄4” output connectors which provide both stereo and mono outputs.

When powering up your MX4, make sure that all wires are connected, and turn your mixer and any other outboard gear on. Then turn on your power amp or powered speakers. When powering down, turn your power amp or power speakers off before your mixer and any outboard gear.

The HM-2 is more than a simple dual channel headphone amplifier. It allows you to independently mix the level of your microphone with a stereo source making it an ideal unit for personal monitoring, either on stage or in the studio.

The Miktek PS2 is a Two Channel, 48 Volt Phantom Power Supply that is capable of powering two condenser microphones at the same time. It is a perfect solution for applications when using a condenser microphone with a mixer, PA, or other amplifiers that do not provide phantom power for their microphone inputs.

Make sure the volume controls on your mixer/PA/amplifier are turned all the way down before connecting your microphones. Use caution because if phantom power on the PS2 is engaged,a loud pop will occur when connecting/disconnecting which can be harmful to your speakers and ears. Always start with the volume control all the way down and then slowly raise the signal to an appropriate level.
